Our Projects

Mid Lachlan Landcare is currently involved in a number of different projects including sustainable grazing, threatened species monitoring, education, ecological restoration and connectivity conservation.

Growing the Grazing Revolution is focused on assisting graziers to transition to sustainable and regenerative grazing practices within a peer learning environment.

Mid Lachlan Landcare provides Educational Tours for school groups studying Year 12 Earth and Environmental Science or Agriculture, or Bachelor of Environmental Science.

Our Box Gum Grassy Woodland Habitat on Farm project is helping this endangered ecological community to survive into the future by working with private landholders to take actions on their farms.

Saving our Superb Parrot project is in it’s final year and has been raising awareness of this vulnerable species that is quite common in our region. We want to keep it coming back and landholders have been planting scattered paddock trees across their properties to provide habitat for the long term.
