Building Connections for Biodiversity in the Central Tablelands

This is a new project across the whole Central Tablelands region. Landcare has partnered with the Biodiversity Conservation Trust and there will be events across the year. You can also get involved by taking part in citizen science to discover, track and share observations of flora and fauna within the region.

Please check out this page regularly to keep up to date with all that is going on.

You can view the introductory flyer here.

It has all the info you need to get started. I really hope you join the iNaturalist group. I’ve been entering sightings from around Cowra and can’t wait to see what everyone else is discovering. Feel free to contact me (Tracee) or Corey if you want any help getting set up to use iNaturalist. Corey’s details are on the flyer and you can contact me at midlachlanlandcare@gmail.com or ph. 0417 799 425

Below are a few of the biodiversity pictures I’ve put up on the iNaturalist project site already 🙂 It is a fantastic way to get identifications of plants, animals, insects, fungi etc. that you may not know and a great way to record the biodiversity you have in your own backyard/farm/national park.
